Ike Okenwa joined the 4S Ranch team in February 2009.  Ike was born in Nigeria, Africa and moved out to San Diego at a very young age.  He attended San Diego Morse High School and was a four year Varsity Letter for Track and Field and two year Varsity Letter for football.  In 1998 he was crowned Male Athlete of the Year by the Union Tribune, he was also a two time MVP for Track and Field, and two time All State Honnoree for Track and Field.  He still holds the school records for the 100m dash (10.46), 200m dash (20.97), and the 4x 100m dash (41.06).  Completing high school he was offered a full athletic scholarship to the University of Michigan where he was a two time NCAA championship qualifier, 10x All Big Ten Honoree for Track and Field, and Team Captain.  He holds the records at Michigan for the 100m dash (10.22) and the indoor 200m dash (21.18).  He was invited to the United States Olympic Trials Qualifier for the 100m dash in 2000.  Ike graduated with a degree in Sports Management and Communication.
