Marisa Herrera joined Velocity Sports Performance in 2007. She began her career as a Customer Service Representative at the Carlsbad location and is now opening the 4S Ranch location as the Customer Service Manager and assisting Business Development.

 

Marisa joined Velocity looking for a career change. She received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics, with a minor in Communication, from San Diego State University. She started her career in the financial sector and decided she needed something that also catered to her love of sports and made the change to Velocity.

 

Marisa has played soccer for almost 20 years in the San Diego Area. A little bit of history for you; she played on the first female Oceanside Breakers team. She played for other teams that still exist and cannot believe how many more teams are now available for everyone; especially for girls. She was a cheerleader for her high school and also cheered on their competition squad.
