Biography

Daniel has emerged as a fine pitching prospect. The 25-year-old was 8-9 with a 3.14 ERA, 116 H and 110/29 K/BB in 123 1/3 IP between Double- and Triple-A this year. There's still some talk of trying him as a reliever, and he could be an effective setup man there. However, he seems likely to make it as a fourth starter if left alone.
