Michele Babbitt

Position: Director of Sports Care in Parsippany

Biography

    Michele Babbitt, M.S.P.T. became a part of the Parsippany/Velocity team in June 2007 after working at Morristown Sports Care for two years.  She grew up in Morris County and graduated from Roxbury High School in 2000, where she was an avid field hockey and softball player.  Michele then pursued her passion for physical therapy at Misericordia University in Dallas , Pa. She earned a bachelor's degree in Health Science and a Master of Science in Physical Therapy.  At Misericordia, Michele served as captain of the field hockey team, where she played for 4 years and was named ECAC Scholar Athlete of the Year.
    After graduation, Michele returned back to NJ where she began her career as a physical therapist for Sports Care.  Her enthusiasm and drive for helping others through rehabilitation advanced her career to become director of our Parsippany/Velocity office.  Michele's dedication to teamwork, compassion for each individual, and work ethic makes her a perfect fit at Parsippany/Velocity.  She enjoys treating patients of all demographics; especially recovering athletes so they may safely return to their sport.
    Today, Michele continues to be involver in athletics by running, and playing golf and softball.  She is still involved in her college as a member of the Alumni Association Board of Directors.  As part of her community service, she and her husband have membership to Roxbury Kiwanis.  Professionally, she serves as a clinical instructor for prospective physical therapy students, and maintains involvement in numerous programs for health and wellness promotion within the company and the community.
