By Velocity Sports Performance

As fall and winter temperatures come down around us, we are reminded to properly warm-up our bodies before we begin rigorous activity.  Regardless of the sport, to enhance performance and reduce the likelihood of injury, warm-up activities must:
·  Increase core body temperature
·  Increase blood circulation to working muscle groups
·  Improve elastic and contractile qualities of working muscle groups
·  Elevate states of the nervous system
If you have questions about what warm-up routine is right for you, and how to best prepare your body for strong performances, speak with your local Velocity Sports Performance.
